This is the pilothouse of the SS Calcite at 40 Mile Point, north of Alpena, MI.This is the ship's radiophone. The papers behind it belong to the ship's log. It was owned by Bradley Transportation, which also owned the Carl D. Bradley. That ship sunk in Lake Michigan in the 1950s.
