Today is the 77th anniversary of Vatican Radio. Gugliemo Marconi was on hand for the inauguration. He said, "I have the highest honor of announcing that in only a matter of seconds the Supreme Pontiff, Pope Pius XI, will inaugurate the Radio Station of the Vatican City state."
Pope Pius the XI was the former Achille Cardnial Ratti.

WOTL, Toledo, comes in better on my car radio than the DX-440. It comes in over WBCL, Fort Wayne. The former is affiliated with family radio. Heard at 2200+.
